Primary Supply Teaching Assistant

Exeter Supply Partnership (ESP) is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in our partner schools throughout Devon and Torbay.
About the Role
As a Supply TA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and engagement. Typical responsibilities include:
Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Working with small groups or individual pupils
Supporting teachers with learning activities
Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Placements vary from day-to-day supply to short term assignments, depending on your availability.
Experience & SEND Knowledge
We are particularly interested in TAs who have:
Experience supporting children in primary settings
Strong behaviour support skills
Confidence working with pupils with SEND, including:
Autism
Speech, language & communication needs
ADHD
Social, emotional and mental health needs
Experience with EHCPs, adaptive learning strategies or 1:1 support is a strong advantage.

Experience working in primary classrooms (references required)
Understanding of how to support SEND pupils
